Serious breakdown of road surface., 23rd September

Wed, 23 Sep 2015 12:06:23 +0100
51.02106 -2.143053

So bad has the surface of the lane become that the original cobblestone foundation is being broken up and scattered. This should be an utter shame to the Wiltshire Council. From time to time paint markings are applied and even signs put up but no repair work is done. There are far too many stretches of disrepair to photograph and submit. I will, therefore, just submit one picture.

This situation has recently been reported to the Wiltshire Council but there has been no response. Tractors appear to be the cause of the potholes. Any vehicle being damaged as a result of these potholes will result in a claim against the Council. I provide two photos of the first and last pothole, several others are growing quickly which are between the two depicted.
