Flood water has been present on A338 just nirth of Burgate cross for an extended period (circa 3 mobths) due to high rainfall levels this winter. Similar has happened in previous winters. Area requires an assessment to devise a permanent solution to draining this water away from the carriageway surface as a permenent solution before someone is badly injured or killed.

What was a relatively small pothole has now increased in size significantly, unable to to photos as this is a 50mph A class road with nowhere safe to park.

2 massive potholes outside of Glyn court nursing home, 10th March
As above deep and large right outside the nursing home, not great for anyone going on that narrow road let alone ambulances to the home, they need proper fixing this time and edged with bitumen as they have previously been poorly repaired, do it right and don’t need to come back again.thanks

Flooding across road, 8th January
This section of road is flooded. I know the Avon is up and the road is partially flooded due to this but the drainage on this section of road is poor even with light rain, there is a ditch on the left side travelling into Fordingbridge, that fills easy.

18 inch pothole quite deep sharp edges, 29th November

Large pothole deep, 22nd November
Large pothole, on the traffic calming. The pothole is being hit from both directions, given its location it is hard to miss coming from roger penny way. So deep the gravel is being spread across road and filled with water which is making it impossible to spot. Been present for only 3-4 days. Has grown rapidly.

Large pothole/drain cover, 31st October
There is a large pothole (approx 6 - 8 weeks since noticing) next to a drain (which is raised now because of the pothole) on the left side of the road just past the corner as you start the steep incline up towards Godshill. Quite dangerous as trying to avoid it puts you into the other side of the road.
