The problem have been there for a few months since I have been working in Bower Chalk. Deep enough to break the drop links on my transit van!

Sunken drain cover on edge of road, 10th April
Unavoidable if passing traffic and very difficult to see. Deep enough to damage tyres, wheels and suspension.

River Bank Collapse, 4th April
River is virtually to edge of carriageway as someone has driven on bank and pushed it down. The river will erode the carriageway foundations unless repaired - serious damage to carriageway highly likely!

Large amount of surface water on road despite high temperatures and dry weather. Suspect leaking water main.

Road damage, Sunday 12 January 2014, 29th January
On the left hand side of the road heading to Salisbury there are multiple potholes. We drove through them in the dark and in the pouring rain and ruined a tyre. While changing the tyre three other vehicles also stopped near us with punctures. Apparently these potholes had been marked with cones but these were not there that evening.

Pothole in Broadchalke, 14th January
Left hand side of road entering Broadchalke near the 30 mph sign. Deep hole which I went into at dusk and caused damage to tyre which I now have to replace. One of quite a few along that stretch of road.
