Overgrown verge by busy main road, 1st May
I walk from Niton to Chale and back 5 times a week for work. There are wide verges on both sides of the roads, however they are very uneven and overgrown. I have read your article about 'No Mow May', however this states verges will still be kept trimmed for safety. I'm not asking for all of both verges to be cut, just a 1m strip. I have to walk on the road due to the state of the verges and this is not safe for me, or other pedestrians, locals. tourists and walkers alike. Not to mention and inconvenience and danger to road uses, cyclists, lorries, buses and such like. A small trimmed section of the verge would make it safer for everyone.

Photographs are available.
