Tarmac around a metal cover, 28th March
The tarmac around the metal drain cover is deteriorating quickly. This was repaired a couple of years ago but at that time was quite a big undertaking closing the south bound carriageway. So better to do it now perhaps - "a stitch in time saves nine!"

Deep Pothole on B2144, 6th June
On the south bound side of the B2144 Drayton Lane perhaps 200m from the level crossing (and the WSCC depot)there is deep pothole at the left side of the road. Even if you know it is there it is impossible to avoid the hole when traffic is on the other side of the road. Last time I hit this I thought my tyre might be damaged and I was driving slowly. Please can this be filled before someone's wheels/tyres are damaged or worse - a cyclist or motorcyclist gets unseated and falls into the road?

Suspicious Van, 22nd May
White Mercedes sprinter van parked in lay-by for extended periods near my workplace, and employees have reported seeing person filming from inside vehicle. Van has an imitation police sticker, that says K-9 unit on it, and distinct blue markings on rear. Reg SJ59 *** (not sure I should be putting it on here?). May be nothing but seems abit strange - especially with the ‘stealth’ signage!

Large and deep pothole next to the ditch. The lane is not wide enough for two cars to pass safely and the pothole is not easy to see at night.

Flytipping Lagness Bend, Pagham RD, 18th December
Just after the Runcton Farm shop going towards Pagham, on the bend of Lagness there is a lay-by area which has what looks like metal cabinets or fridge freezers dumped , there was a mattress but it’s gone with only the other items mentioned remaining.
