Abandoned car blocking the highway, 19th December
A hire car has been abandoned in the middle of the road after the driver failed to successfully drive through the previously flooded road. The hire car company have not retrieved the vehicle. The car is insured and taxed so the council do not regard it as abandoned. The car is however partially blocking the road and would certainly prevent an ambulance or fire engine passing. Please can the car be moved so it no longer restricts safe passage of emergency vehicles, delivery vehicles and local resident’s cars. Thank you.

No speed limit sign, 29th October
Please can there be a National Speed limit sign here. Google maps and in car sat Nav show this as a 30mph road when it is actually a National Speed limit. From the opposite direction as I leave Maudlin there IS a NSL sign. The lack of a sign at the other end of this road causes uncertainty for drivers, particularly on driving tests.
