Variable speed limit display has missing pixels, 23rd April

Tue, 23 Apr 2024 19:06:04 +0100
50.867705 -1.210103

Sign was trying to display 50mph but due to parts of the display not working it could have been misread as 60mph. Luckily I was travelling at just under 50mph but as I passed the sign a number of cars were flashed who probably thought it was 60mph who would have been within the limit had it been 60mph. I have dash-cam footage if required.

Yellow lines needs, 15th April

Mon, 15 Apr 2024 22:34:31 +0100
50.86112 -1.209825

Yellow lines are needed from copping way down to the shops along Fraham park road. Inconsiderate parking makes traveling down Themis road at rush hour a nighmare. Especially at 8am and between 4-6pm. Even in the middle of the day when there is a bud at the end of the road off loading passenger it causes a grid lock. The back ups are dangerous and frustrating. People often drive on the pavement to get round inconsiderate drivers who do not give way

Traffic lights stopping flows without reason, 5th April

Fri, 05 Apr 2024 14:47:32 +0100
50.850226 -1.228633

The new right turn to the West through the middle of the old gyratory had perfectly good waiting traffic sensing, so didn't hold traffic along the main A27 travelling West without reason. Now for some reason the lights are holding Westbound A27 traffic for longer whilst the right turn lane gets a green for non-existent traffic to move, on every cycle of the lights. A system failure or has some 'engineer' been reprogramming them again to cause delays as we had before along the A27?

Several potholes in ose succession, 21st March

Thu, 21 Mar 2024 21:46:33 +0000
50.863185 -1.230497

There are several holes at the edge of the road from where the stream runs under the road at the caravan park, to the new Beaver Farm(?) entrance. This is a bit of a pinch point if lorries are coming down the road from L&S which forces in to the deep potholes. The culvert is also possibly blocked as the road has started to flood here after heavy rain.

Tree urgently needs topping and pollarding, 26th February

Mon, 26 Feb 2024 18:28:24 +0000
50.849116 -1.222415

I've reported this tree before ref Enquiry 21628402. It was inspected by Andrew Small in January 2023 who said it was OK physical condition. This tree is dangerously high and leans towards our house, if it comes down it will land on our bedroom roof. The land it sits on is extremely wet, I've seen a similar tree which looked in equally good condition fall on the A27 today, and the 50ft tree we had in our rear garden just fell in 2019 luckily missing houses. This tree has never been maintained to my knowledge and urgently needs a good 30 feet taking off the top and cutting back all round. The leverage due to the height and width must be enormous in the wind. Branches also keep falling on the pavement. Both the large trees on that patch of land need urgent attention. It's got to the stage that if we have high winds we are scared to try and sleep in our bedroom. I dread to think how much damage this could cause to ours or neighbouring houses. I don't understand the reticence in cutting it back to a safe level and maintaining it? Can this be organised please with some urgency
