Very large deep pothole in left lane heading towards Westbourne from Chi, 17th April
As above, large deep pothole near the woodmancote (small sign) before the westbourne turning coming from Chichester. Lots of tarmac and stones in the road if a cyclist goes over this and it’s full of water they will be seriously injured or worse.

Dangerous pothole, 2nd April
There is large pothole near the road bend which has none reflective traffic cone in it. This cone is now causing an obstruction of the highway and better TM arrangements are necessary to avoid accident.
Was unable to stop and take photo due to the already hazardous location.
Please can you attend and make area safe as well as carrying out urgent pothole maintenance works.

Potholes on both sides of the road., 30th March
Emsworth common road on the very tight corner and roadside memorials (there is a junction there also that is not a named road but leads to 'broad walk'). Pot holes are on both sides of the road. Where it is a fairly narrow section, it's impossible to avoid driving into them.

Very deep pothole, 22nd March
Large deep pothole on the way up Monks Hill with another a little further up on the other side, that one has a cone in it so as you come wide to avoid the cone and a car is coming towards you avoiding the one on the other side of the road an accident is sure to happen

3 deep potholes over a distance of approx 3m, 13th March
Potholes have been here for several weeks and cars cannot avoid them as cars parked on street render a one lane access. Consequently the potholes are getting larger/deeper. There is no kerb on this side of the road, so more crumbling occurring.

Badly deep flooded corner, 5th March
From Westbourne driving on foxbury lane to common road just past cemetery lane or road on a blind corner the road is badly flooded and now extended to both lanes , there are potholes under the water, I reported this a while ago and all the council have done is put a flood sign up, the drains need cleaning out regularly of silt and leaves, a sign may cover them fir insurance but won’t sort the issue out.

Flooding on blind bend, 27th February
This area keeps getting flooded on a blind bend,it’s deep and traffic heading towards Westbourne have to navigate it by travelling on the opposite lane, this is dangerous as traffic coming from westbourne can’t see them, this needs looking at urgently and NOT just putting a flood sign nr it.someone could get seriously injured

Abandoned signage, 23rd February
On the B2146 between the turn off for Hares Lane and then up to Watergate there are numerous abandoned road signs and cones which have been there for months. They are a bit of a hazard as they stick out onto the road which impedes cars passing each other and of course they are unsightly.

You don't see these Potholes until it is too late, especially when it has rained like this week. If a motorbike hit it at speed he or she could be seriously injured.
