Entire road through lower heyford has multiple potholes and raised tarmac, 10th April
I started reporting the awful state of the road through Lower Heyford in Sept 2021 and despite being advised it was informed in Nov 22 that it would be investigated for repair in 2023. Nothing has been done and now it has become worse. A 20 mile hour speed limit is in place in parts of the village but even driving at this speed it is impossible to avoid serious issues on the tarmac - both potholes and raised areas of tarmac that cause damage to cars and is dangerous for bike and motorbike riders. Why cant you do something about this - surely 2.5 years is enough time to resolve?

Drain blocked and water continuously coming OUT from drain and flowing down the road, 9th April
Drain is blocked underground going down the Heyford road hill towards Heyford bridge, and water is flowing OUT from the drain onto the road, down the hill and into another drain further down the hill. This is a constant stream of water on the road.

Overflowing drain on Mill Lane polluting canal and river, 4th April
Continual problem after rainfall with overflowing drain on Mill Lane. Water containing sewage then flows over the road and drains into the canal which in turn pollutes the River Cherwell.

The road markings at the junction or Lower Heyford Road and Station road are virtually gone. I personally have had near misses with cars cutting across in front of me as there are no clear markings at the junction

Significant hole on the side of the manhole, 7th March
I’ve noticed this hole for about a month which I’m guessing broke down due to the wet weather. I’ve been trying to look through paperwork to see whether this is a part of my property but I believe it is the council’s responsibility. I’m concerned with the potential issues with rodents as my own drain has had this problem in the past and I don’t want it to reoccur again.

Fly tipping on Traffic Island, 5th March
The debris of a long 'dealt with' crash remains on the traffic island where the traffic lights are. Sadly it wasnt dealt with properly at the time and as usual it has encouraged other reprobates to add to the litter with their own. It has now become a regular fly tipping hotspot and the poor old council tax payer is left footing the bill! Why dont the original culprits or the recovery firm foot the bill for a change?
