Deep hole in bitumen pavement, 26th April
There is a small but very deep hole in the pavement outside 8 Northampton Road. Looks as though the bitumen around the edge of the hole is thin too, like there might be a cavity underneath the pavement.

Road surface crumbling and undermining further along the road, 26th April
Road surface breaking up, needs fixing soon as it is rapidly deteriorating. Needs marking some way back from the immediate area, as last time it was fixed a few years ago it was not done far enough back and the pothole repair man said he could not fix it beyond the paint line as he recommended.

Lane markings unreadable, 24th April
Every time I use this junction either somebody cuts me up or I witness somebody being cut up. Simply because the white lines are now so faded they are missing. It's clear from Google Street View that this has been neglected for a few years now.

Traffic light timings, 23rd April
It seems clear that the body responsible for setting/controlling the traffic lights along the Southern by-pass road have incorrectly adjusted them, as the traffic along this road has significantly worsened over the last week. In particular the lights at the A423/A4144 (Southern By-Pass / Abingdon Rd) Junction. Traffic has been queuing to abnormally high levels (even for Oxford) over thr last week and it is clear that the priorities of the lights are incorrect and need to be urgently readjusted.
This morning for example, there was NO traffic joining the Southern By-Pass from the Abingdon Rd and yet the incorrect priority signalling is causing backups all the way along the southern by-pass between Hinksley Hill and the junction with the A4142.
Why has someone adjusted the priorities when there was no need to change them? It has made the already bad traffic situation diabolical.

Several deep potholes on the roundabout junction, 19th April
There are several potholes which require drivers to swerve into the next lane to avoid car damage. This is a very busy roundabout and cars changing lanes to avoid pot holes is an accident waiting to happen. I’m on this roundabout every day and it’s absolutely lethal and the pot holes are unavoidable without causing risk to cars and other drivers

Potholes more like craters, 18th April
A lot of very deep potholes on the section of road leading up to the roundabout. Very dangerous and will cause an accident soon. Unable to take photos due to the location. This needs to be looked into and fixed asap.
