Fall due to large dip in the pavement. No street lights in village., 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 07:05:29 +0100
51.989597 -1.368496

At 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday 24th April I tripped due to the massive dip in the pavement, which I can now see is less obvious when walking up it with Murrays Lane behind me. The photo of my knee was taken two days later and my hand was badly scrapped too. There's no street lights in the village, which makes this dip more dangerous. I do not know how long this dip has been there, but I regularly walk around the village and had never spotted it before. As you can see from the photos, the dip affects the left hand side of the pavement.

Severe Pothole, 15th March

Fri, 15 Mar 2024 14:55:47 +0000
51.981497 -1.370655

Hit this last night in the dark and rain. Couldn't see it, oncoming traffic otherwise normally forced to resort to driving in the middle of the road. Destroyed tyre, will be in touch to claim. Roads in some areas of the county (and the UK) absolutely horrific, poor temporary repairs quite often the issue. This is the 3rd time in 6 months I've had to repair damage to car.

Red plastic barriers against damaged wall, 12th February

Mon, 12 Feb 2024 14:05:27 +0000
51.990487 -1.365206

There have been red plastic barriers against a damaged wall on the west side of The Rock, Barford St Michael. They have been there several years but no-one seems to know wht they atre there for. The wall is damaged but no action has ever been taken to resolve the issue. If there is no danger they should be removed, if not action should be taken. rather than use Barford St Michael as a dumping ground for unwanted (or redundant) plastic barriers.
