ISSUE: Youth Crime and exploitation
ACTION: The Neighbourhood Team for Didcot and Wallingford are taking robust action to prevent youth criminality and exploitation. Fostering good relations with our partner agencies; charities and relevant organisations has enabled us to have a broad insight into arising concerns and utilising the skills of our network to protect the community within our neighbourhood area. We are currently in the process of creating a safeguarding package to deliver to our secondary school children. This will give our young people the tools to help identify risk and keep themselves safe when out in the community and on social media. Talks at local youth groups such as Berry Youth Club have been given to help educate young people on exploitation and grooming

ISSUE: Anti-social behaviour (ASB)
ACTION: We continue to tackle isolated incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB) as well as more entrenched issues such as ASB amongst young people in the local parks and market place. We have identified key areas for demand reduction and are working alongside statutory and third-sector organisations in order to tackle long-standing problems. We support local businesses; identify prolific offenders and assist with the delivery of banning letters and other long term planning. Multiple Community Resolutions have been given to young people caught shoplifting in the area. We are committed to dealing with the issues that the community raise to us and develop a large quantity of intelligence to target areas of high threat and risk. We hold Have Your Say and ASB surveys monthly in the local Waitrose and amend our patrol areas in line with community feedback. We endeavour to use tools such as stop and search to disrupt and prosecute drug dealers. We have recently been granted a closure order on a residential address known for ASB
