Road condition and general road dangerous, 20th February
East Hanney to Steventon through road is getting to the point of dangerous. The general road condition is getting worse by the week. HGV use and now additional bus services flying down the is resulting in hazards on the tight bends.
The is road is being used as a racetrack by drivers, young and older. Most recently we have had a car crash into our drive and wrote off 3 cars. This was early evening and myself or neighbours could have been putting the bins out. Someone could have been seriously hurt or worse.
The speed limit needs to be checked, monitoring done along the length of the road and the road resurfacing.
People should not have to loose properly, be on guard or be injured/killed because the roads are not being cared for.
In the 12 years I have lived on this road I can could multiple vehicles coming off the road and the general condition deteriorate every year due to heavy traffic and vehicles.

Mud on road near West Hanney from farm - led to injury and damaged bicycle, 20th December
There is a mud on the road just outside of West Hanney towards Steventon. There was no ‘mud on road’ sign and the farmer (the trail from field back to the tractor is very clear) has presumably made no effort to prevent this or clean the road. I came off my bicycle on the way home this evening causing damage to myself (I have more pictures, but seem to have reached the limit) and my bicycle. There was of course a car close behind when this happened, so it’s lucky he could stop in time. Any advice on how to take further action to recover damages would be greatly appreciated.
