Dangerous dip on end of slip road Chilton slip road getting bigger. Going over at a speed is damaging cars and people slowing down are nearly causing accidents due to joining a34 too slow. There is a temporary uneven road surface sign, but this has been ongoing for several months now and can no longer be classed as temporary and suggests national highways are aware of this issue (also shown by other reports but issue still not fixed). Fix My Street says this is the responsibility and management of National Highways not a local authority. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible before any accidents happen as a result of this dangerous road surface - Thank you

Sinking foul sewer manhole, with loose and noisy cover, 21st April
Manhole for foul sewer is sinking into the road surface, getting progressively worse - now about 50 mm below surrounding road. Reported to Thames Water, who came to investigate and said it needed a full road closure which it would not be able to get.

Growing issue with overnight camping\motor homes, 18th April
There is a growing issue with people parking up overnight on a regular basis in this unauthorised parking area by the side of the road, a lot clear off during the day but come back at night on a regular basis 2 or 3 converted vans are there all the time during the day, the attached photo was taken at 08:30 this morning.

Huge dip just before getting on A34, 14th April
There's a huge dip in the road surface just before you go onto the A34. At speeds building up to get on the A34, it's incredibly dangerous as the car dips down and then the wheels come off the road. Multiple cars in front of us almost lost control of their cars.

Dangerous dip in the road surface on slip road, 7th April
On the Chilton slip road going Northbound there is a dangerous dip in the road which is unavoidable. As it is near the end of the slip road slowing down is not an option as this causes you to join the a34 at a dangerously slow speed, but going over it at a speed will ultimately cause damage to cars, of which has already happened to mine and others’. cars. Large dip in entry slip road, 4th April
Large dip in entry slip road to A34 preventing many from speeding up sufficiently for safe entry.
Also horrible visibility to slip road making entry very dangerous. I have witnessed multiple near misses and someone will end up injured or worse at some point soon if this is not addressed.

10 plus potholes up to 100mm depth and 1000mm wide, 3rd April
I have been reporting this for over 12 months and to date none have been fixed. This IS an ADOPTED HIGHWAY up to the end junction with the private drive, byway and farm entrance. It is also used on a weekly basis by Council Refuse Collections. PLEASE can something be done to rectify this as it is almost impassable

Cracked footpath, 30th March
The footpath in Newbury Road has been cracked since I moved in 18 months ago. Part of the footpath was replaced earlier in the year but cannot understand why all the cracked footpath was not replaced at the same time.

Flooded underpass, 27th March
Hi, the underpass under the A34 has been flooded since 12 January. A ticket was open on FixMyStreet. Yesterday the ticket was changed to fixed but the underpass is still flooded. The only fix has been to put ‘Footpath closed’ signs in front of the flood. Please could the ticket remain open until the drains have been pumped (or whatever needs to be done to clear the water).

Inconsiderate parking, 11th March
This car has been parked like this for 3 days despite there being plenty of parking bays opposite. Ma y families with small children and prams walk along here every day and they cannot get through. One side is a corner where cars come speeding round so having people walk on the road can be dangerous.

A34 underpass (foot access) Flooded to waist height, 26th February
Underpass has been flooded for a number of weeks. Height relative to lamp posts shows the depth to be at least waist high (as seen from the Chilton Village side of the underpass). This is therefore dangerous. Photos can be provided if needed.
