Lane markings worn on junction, 10th April
The lane markings on the junction are worn which means lane discipline from drivers unfamiliar with the junction is poor and I have witnessed several incidents of road rage and vehicles cutting each other up thinking they are in the correct lane. Vehicles in lane 2 to go from Shaw towards Elk Mill automatically veer into lane 1 thinking it is their right of way. Lane 1 is a left turn and straight ahead lane. The directional arrows clearly show this is the case, but lane 2's arrow points toward lane 1. Restoring the worn lane guide lines would help alleviate this common occurrance. Please see the attached photo for context.

Single lane rd sign & heavy duty bollards & curb stones required to stop vehicles falling in stream, 30th March
Road needs repairing / widening where it has collapsed into the stream AND single lane road sign & heavy duty bollards & curb stones needed to stop cars and huge trucks pulling too far over and falling into the stream which leads to the River Irk. The 3rd vehicle a huge heavy duty skip truck fell in last night when going up the lane and a car was coming down the lane (there is only room from 1 car) Consequently a skip of soil is now in the stream and all over the road where the skip has been dragged off the tow truck. I've reported the road numerous times over the last 8yrs and vehicles keep going off road into the stream

School staff parking on road whilst car park isnt full causing parking problems for residents!!!, 14th March
We have had ongoing issues with school staff parking on the road instead of their school car park. Some come in as early as 8.15am and park on the road instead of going to their car park that is provided for them! I have emailed the head which she had said she will work together in harmony to resolve this but there still isn't any changes! These photos are taken from 1st Dec 2023 and we are into march 2024. I gave it months to see improvement but there isn't any and some days there are upto 10 school staff cars parked causing issues for residents to park!! Theres photos attached of the school car park that's not even full! Maybe due to weather conditions it's understandable but it's everyday an issue. This shouldn't be the case if a school car park is provided for their staff! It's all the lazy staff that park closer to school entrance and strolling in minutes before 9am!! They are parked on road and some don't leave until late!!! I asked the headteacher if the staff can be considerate and mindful of us residents to park in there car park due to elderly parents and young children that we have and some days we have to park 2 or 3 streets away! I have emailed her again last week and shes not bothered to reply back! I understand its a public road but surely the staff should be using there facility that is in place for them!!

Insufficient drainage, 6th March
The junction become submerged in inches of water. this junction is a pedestrian crossing with a pedestrian refuse island. Its impossible to pass on foot when the low spots are flooded and take longer to drain away. There's a school on the corner of this junction therefore parents/carers and children use it twice daily, on weekdays, term time, to cross.

No Road Markings following Resurface, 6th March
The junction of Middleton road and Broadway in Chadderton has recently had work done but no road markings have returned. The new road alignment seems to make it harder for drivers unsure of the junction to keep to the right. This makes it unsafe I feel and can also restrict the number of vehicles making a right turn on a green light.
Therefore new road markings would be expected on a new junction. Would you agree?
