Overgrowth of undergrowth, 15th November
The plants on the privately owned land which used to be the small Golf Course are now taking over the pavement. They grew excessively in the summer, like all gardens, and have not been tamed. I walked past the land today with two friends and we were unable to walk side-by-side because nettles (3ft high), brambles (ditto), ivy and leaves underfoot were covering over a quarter of the pavement. Small children would find much of this greenery at face height. Us oldies just find it slippy.

Huge pothole in outside lane of M1, 9th July
On Saturday 17th June I was travelling at around 0600 on the M1 from Wakefield to Birmingham airport to travel on holiday to Mexico. I hit a massive pothole in the outside lane, HUGE bang, flat in seconds.
It burst my tyre. LuckilyI was able to run Flat to the airport and home again on Sunday 2nd July.
It cost me £415 for a new tyre…..
Fast forward to Friday 7th July driving to Milton Keynes, I see the same damned pothole and luckily avoid it.
I reckon it is 2 foot long, 1 foot wide and a good 3-5” deep. Needs sorting asap

Dangerous pavement parking near a school, numerous near misses, 19th April
Large volume of cars drive down Moor Lane and surrounding areas in the mornings and afternoons to pick up/drop off children at school.
Cars are often mounting pavements to park as road is narrow are volume of cars is plentiful. Often, children who are walking to school (especially small ones) are often driven towards whilst walking on the pavement. All drivers are in a rush and often the road becomes gridlocked. Better road management needed here, and billiards required on the pavements to keep the children safe.
This problem is worse when raining as more cars attend school pick up and visibility is worse.
Peak times for the problem is 0830-0910, 1450-1510
