Very badly potholed, especially outside school, but huge potholes down Mercia Drive, from Ermine Street to Charles Avenue, 300 yards of danger to cars and cycles! Road is in disgusting state for years! When is it getting fixed?

At the entrance to the ‘layby’ at west willoughby, 13th April
There are two holes that the highways team failed to repair this morning. The one nearest the road is over 45mm deep. The other hole is part of a pothole that the team did not fill in. The bitumen tape used around the edge of the hole is already coming up after 2 hours.

Multiple holes. All along from Ermine Street up to Charles Avenue, 9th April
Multiple potholes on Mercia Drive, particularly outside of school, from Ermine Street up to Charles Avenue. When Mums and Dads pick up their kids, they are parked on the 'good' side, forcing residents to drive through these potholes, damaging tyres and suspension on our cars. Been like it for years but it's getting worse. When are these holes going to be fixed? I note multiple complaints on this site from other residents about this.

Outside 11 Wilsford Lane Ancaster, 9th April
See Report 476301from 26 October 2023 6 months ago. The roads has since been widened and other signs relocated. Reinstatements have or are taking place the 30 speed limit sign has not been replaced making the speed limit unenforceable. The road widening has only increased the speed of vehicles in a residential street where children play and get the bus for school, when will this sign been replaced.

Water Lane from Old School House to No15., 6th April
Dear Sir, I have lived in Water lane for the past 25 years and repaiered the pot holes. The the farm tractors come. Now approaching 70 my neighbours and I can no longer do this. We pay our council taxes with no issues and now need some help. It probably neds 15 Mt of road trailing spread on it to seal the limstone chips. Could the council help? It would be good to formally adopt the road as we are counsil tac payers and we are only talking about 150 yards. The lean is heavily used by the village and it would be greatly appreciated. The whole road is just pot hole after pot hole. With cars parked outside the school there is no way of avoiding them no matter which direction you are going.
