Approach to Swarby, Culverthorpe Rd, 16th April
Road crumbling at edge has broken away to form considerable sized pothole. Road from this point on towards Swarby is breaking at edges on both sides, causing narrowing of roadway insufficient for two cars to pass without one needing to stop and give way (or forced into pothole and damage car).

Large pothole approx 30x30com in the middle of the unlit road, over 40mm deep. Has been there over 2 months and is getting bigger. Road is unlit and waterlogged frequently causing a significant hazard to all users.

Very large Pothole near entrance to Sanfoin House, 25th February
Large pothole well over 40mm deep to the south off the entrance to sainfoin house. This is on an unlit street in the middle off the road making avoidance difficult for all, never mind at night or when filled with water. It has been there over 4 months and is getting considerably worse.

Large Potholes Northern end of Mere Lane, 25th February
Approx 1/3rd way down Mere Lane travelling from Heydour on the right side of the road travelling south. Both are very large and well over 40mm deep. The road is unlit and used by multiple users, vehicular, perdistrian, cyclist and horse riders posing a significant risk to all. They have been there approx 3 months and are getting considerably worse.

Mere Lane adjacent to the development site to East before road turns towards the village, 25th February
7 Large potholes in multiple locations on both side road, all more than 40mm deep and over 30 cm long /wide. The number and locations makes driving the road difficult even when known about. The fact they are on a unlit road immediately adjacent to a 90 degree bend used by Cars, cyclists, horse riders and pedestrians ensures they are a danger to all users. They have been present for over 2 months and are deteriorating rapidly due to the weather and vehicular use.

Junction on to Kelby lane, 23rd February
As you can see, the junction markings has significantly faded, along with no ‘Give way’ sign in place. Attached is a very close near miss that my son encountered. This junction is often problematic with people not stoping, it is also a very popular lane for walker/ cyclists/ horse riding as well as cars and farm machinery so anything to minimise potential accidents would be appreciated.

Ng32 3ng, 19th February
I have reported a serious flooding problem at my property THREE times. Yesterday it flooded again. I took a video of this which i seem to be unable to load onto your site. Your response' unit turned up eight days ago and put a cone on the drain cover that keeps being dislodged by the water. That was the sum total of the response. When is this serious problem going to be attended to????????

Mere Lane, Aisby, going south towards sharp bend in road, 12th January
Mud on road. Deep Potholes in excess of 40 mm and destroyed verge. This is a repetitive issue on this stretch of this road due to an on-going development and local land owner/farmer. Today the road is covered in a thick covering of mud along mere lane and to the North where the road turns to the east to Aunsby. As the roads are unlit this mud will constitute a high level of danger to all users of this highway. The verge on west rise of mere lane is destroyed by all the delivery lorries servicing the building site to the east of mere lane. Many have struck the concrete utility manhole cover servicing the village with phone and broadband on the west side of the lane towards the bend opposite the site entrance. The road also has in excess of 5 potholes all over 40mm deep causing further danger to all. With the freezing weather forecast in the next few days these hazards will only add to the dangers. May i remind the council on the law covering such matters Farmers and contractors are legally obliged to ensure that if their vehicles leave mud, and other deposits, on the road, they are responsible to clean it up. If they don’t, they could be liable for a number of offences under the Highways Act 1980. If a person without lawful authority or excuse, in any way wilfully obstructs the free passage along a highway he / she is guilty of an offence. Likewise, if without lawful authority or excuse, a person deposits anything whatsoever on a highway – whether that be mud, diesel, silage, etc - to the interruption of any user of the highway he / she is guilty of an offence. Furthermore, if anything is deposited on the highway so as to constitute a nuisance / danger the Highway Authority can require the person who put it there to remove it forthwith. Mud in particular may cause cars / motorbikes to skid and is therefore not only dangerous but also a nuisance. Moreover, if a person without lawful authority or excuse deposits anything whatsoever on a highway in consequence
