Road and driveway between lower barn and 32 lower road, 14th March
Previously reported, 490637 was the number given. Work completed around the corner but did not finish the total damaged area, as shown in photos attached. The area marked in yellow by your engineer but most of the marks have been washed away but still visible is looked at closely. Damaged area includes up to the block paving as informed that the edging stone denotes council property. If loose stones are put in place they will be washed away at next heavy rainfall as evidenced by previous attempts to carry out repairs. Therefore a more permanent solution is required. Damage to the bottom of front bumper is now happening when taking cars in and out due to large hollow at the end of the drive.

Outside Wayside Farm, near the corner of Lower Road and Thomson's Lane, 23rd February
Whenever it rains a reasonable amount there is water that appears to come from the drainage ditch onto Lower Road. I don't know if the small bridge over the footpath that goes up to the church is blocked but it is about 20-30m back up from the bridge, up Lower Road just outside Wayside Farm, where it emerges onto the road. This has caused damage to the road (which has already been reported).

Road edge outside property 32 Lower Road, 9th February
A minor repair was made this week with loose clippings placed where the edge of the road was previously damaged from torrent of water coming from the nearby beck when flooded earlier this year. After last nights rain there was enough water damage, not from the beck as this did not flood but the rain water has displaced the new loose chipping sand carried them further down the road. I feel that this would evidence that the other areas of lower road that have not yet been repaired from the previous report would need to have a more permanent solution as we have flooding on Lower Road frequently.

At the end of the driveway between 32 Lower Road and Lower Barn all along the edge to opposite Wayside Farm, 25th January
50 meters approx
Erosion of the end of the drive and roadside edge has happened consistently when there is flooding from the beck running alongside Lower Road. Repairs to the bottom of the drive were made three years ago following repeated flooding/ice. This years excessive rain have taken away even more of the road surface, from the beck opposite Wayside Farm to the end of Lower Road this is evidenced by stones carried away around the corner towards the bottom of new hill. Video of flooding is available but is too large to be produced here but can be viewed if requested . Repeated flooding of the beck every time there is heavy rainfall is the cause of the damage, to privately owned property and public road.

O/S Number 15 High road, 17th January
There was recently work on the driveway outside number 15, where there was a 2ft x 4ft deep hole. This was mended but has now started to fall apart and become slippery, large lumps of tarmac from the cover up are now moving out of place. The may stem from where the water is coming down the lane and pooling outside of 15 and up the drive, and this is restricting access for cars to the property.

Grantham Road adjacent to Water Lane, 5th January
The culvert adjacent to The Limes which runs under Grantham Road is unable to cope with the high levels of flow seen multiple times in the last couple of years. This causes flood water to rush down Grantham Road and on this occasion it has eroded the road surface causing a large pot hole. This problem has existed for at least two years and has previously cause significant erosion outside 15, High Road.
