After another serious accident the markings and signage need to be improved. The majority of traffic coming down Cliff Road seem to presume they have right of way wrongly. The large amount of tourists traffic to and from Belvoir Castle are unfamiliar with the road layout. Improving the road markings and signage would help to avoid future collisions.

Customer states that the streetlight might be no.4 but has some ivy growing on it. Customer states the light is completely out and it was noticed last week that it was out. Customer states she hasn't noticed if there is external damage.

Woolsthorpe by Belvoir crossroads and Main Street., 22nd February
Flooding of these roads is now very serious, it is running water and well over half of the road areas. The grass banks are full of water so it has nowhere to drain away. This is a problem in several areas in Main Street and Belvoir Road down to the bridged road over the River Devon. It needs urgent attention and has been reported on a lot of occasions.

Cliff Road/Main Street/Belvoir Road crossroads in Woolsthorpe by Belvoir, 15th February
We have asked several times for the light to be given urgent attention, we are disappointed to note that the light is still not working. There is no number attached to the post due to wear and tear. It is a dangerous area as these are the main crossroads, carrying traffic from the A607 or A52 down towards Woolsthorpe by Belvoir or to Bevoir Castle. It is particular dangerous at night and extremely unsafe for walkers as due to lack of other lighting along that area, crossing the road whilst being unable to see or being seen is unacceptable. Please can this be given urgent attention. Thank you for your help.

Woolsthorpe by Belvoir main street, 11th February
After travelling through Knipton , the nearby village in Leicestershire. I noticed that vast stretches of road that were in a damaged state have been beautifully restored to pristine condition. I have been living in Woolsthorpe by Belvoir for many years. During that time I have had to constantly report the poor condition of the road surface. It seems that Lincs CC Highways’s constantly patch up with poor quality repairs. I wonder when Woolsthorpe by Belvoir will qualify for a good quality repair similar to neighbouring Knipton area. Is it a case of postcode lottery as to whether Lincolnshire can provide a quality service, or is Leicestershire the only county able to be able to provide best practice repairs.

Cross Roads Woolsthorpe by Belvoir as described below., 7th February
Despite asking for urgent repairs to the street light nothing has been done. The light situation on the crossroads adjacent to Sedgebrook Road/Cliff Road/Main Street and Belvoir Road is not working. The light has no information number on it, having rotted and worn away. This area is unsafe for pedestrians to walk particularly when crossing the roads. There are no immediate lights on the area of Sedgebrook Road or Main Street. It is a very dark area. We have asked before as we consider the street light needs urgent attention for the safety of the village in that area. If there is an accident on the A52, A607 or one of the many event held at the castle, the crossroads becomes a main route for traffic making it even more important that the crossroads can be seen clearly. Left hand side of the road when in the direction from Brewers Grave corner to Denton., 22nd January
Extremely dangerous large pot holes alongside the left hand side of the road. Brewers Grave corner is already an area which is considered a potential accident spot and as it is without lighting the large oblong pothole would not be seen easily. It has been there a long time and has we are aware been reported previously although nothing has been done.
