2x 50cm potholes near lamp post number 20, 30th March
The potholes have been there for over 7 weeks & are now getting bigger. Our home is close to the road so every time an LGV drives over them there is a loud bang & the house shakes. We have concern with the house structure, the longer this goes on.

Dangerous hole and carriageway collapse on bend, 12th January
Dangerous deep, damage causing deterioration to edge of carriageway on blind bend causing vehicles to veer into opposite carriageway at great risk. Category 1 level attention required. I don’t want to be called to give evidence at a coroners inquest!

Neglected road surfaces, 5th March
This pothole has been getting worse for over a month. Whilst reporting this a black estate car hit the hole and front near side tyre blew. The driver Mr Jaine confirmed the damage.
This hole is so serious it’s life threatening!!

Deep hole encroaching into carriageway (xs 40mm), 8th June
This hole has been overlooked at the last 2 inspections, previously bodged to a very poor standard. This road carries heavy vehicles, is narrow, no footpath and no refuge to pedestrian obliged to use it to get between Southwell & Hockerton.

Previously reported persistent water leak now causing potholes, 22nd January
Although this has been reported the the council and Severn Trent nothing has been done.
The hill is always wet from a constant leak and this has now developed in to three pot holes. One of which is becoming quite nasty.

Pothole and underground water leak, 4th August
I’ve reported this before but it was deemed to not be a problem. This section of road leaks frequently and even in this baking weather the road is constantly wet. A pothole has now formed again at the top where the water is leaking up through the surface. I have also reported this to Severn Trent. It seems that pipes are fixed and the road is patched which leads to constant weaker bits failing, it would make sense to replace the old sections all at the same time.
