Tree at 151 Main Street, Woodborough, NG14 6DD, 27th February
Please be advised that the tree at 153 Main Street has damaged the property boundary wall leaving it in a precarious state to pedestrians and also the pavement has started to lift. With the heavy winds over the weekend of 19/20 Feb 22 quite a few branches were snapped, some which overhung the pavement at head height leaving it quite dangerous to pedestrians. This tree also blocks our natural light and with our property only having windows on the side of the tree makes winters quite depressing and has the knock on effect that we do not benefit from heating the property naturally with direct sunlight I have spoken to the property owner post the recent high winds and he has stated, again, that the council are stopping him from maintaining the tree to a safe height and state and will prosecute him if he touches it.
