Blocked drain on corner of south avenue Radcliffe on Trent, 21st March
I have reported this issue for over a year now it’s starting to become a major problem when it rains and the drain is blocked soon as it rains it floods and the splash’s on to the front of our house which can be stressful at night when we’re trying to go sleep or in the day when you walking on the path because you get splashed because the water was no where to go due to the drain be blocked I spoke to workmen on Wednesday who were clearing the drains on the other side of the room and they said they would alert the other crew to come sort it out and it has still not been sorted and starting to become a nuisance when it rains due to the speed of cars and hgv passing and then water being thrown towards our house to the point it sounds like someone is throwing a brick at the house due to sheer force of the water please can this be sorted immediately as I know your currently doing works on the section of the A52 further down the road or I’ll be contacting my local mp

Awful, dangerous road surface., 13th March
The road surface here has numerous potholes, cracks, and is unsafe for most cars and even larger vehicles. Cyclists need to be extra careful. The council have clear neglect and could not care less when road surfaces like this exist. The road is dangerous, and needs resurfacing as soon as possible. Potholes are becoming sharp and will damage tyres, alloys, wheels and even suspension components. Worst road surface i’ve ever seen.

Dangerous potholes almost caused accident last night, 3rd February
These potholes are still an issue and only getting more dangerous and can seem a fatal crash happening from a pileup. Last night someone slammed their brakes on right in front of me which meant I had to urgently slow down just as I was filtering onto the left exit lane off the A52 at the RSPCA to turn into Radcliffe. This caused people further behind me to suddenly brake and could have caused a terrible accident. The multiple hole on this stretch of road are now so deep and so many that it is impossible to avoid them especially when it gets dark. Also exiting Radcliffe onto the A52 turning right towards Nottingham there are holes in the center of that junction as well as the whole stretch from there to the bridge which was destroyed when there was work being carried out. I use this road most days and it will definitely be taking its toll on my car having hit potholes that seem to get noticeable worse after bad weather where the repairs from previous patching have suddenly broken down. I understand there seems to be some issues of safety reported by workers which I am shocked by but surely there must be a resolution that protects the driving safety of all the road users who need to use this stretch of road on a daily basis? As this needs rectification sooner rather than later. I was really shook up after this event and the thought of there being a pileup and people getting hurt just seem very likely now. People are swerving all over to avoid these areas of severely damaged roads and I am sure most residents of Radcliffe are worried about the safety of this road to life never mind damage that’s happening to our cars.

A series of potholes across the left lane of the A52 prior to turning left at the RSPCA into Radcliffe., 29th January
A series of deep potholes, large enough to cause damage to vehicles or cause a motorcycle to crash.
Because of the size & frequency of them theyre impossible to avoid. There are so many very bad potholes between this junction and Holme House. All of the potholes along that stretch are damaging our cars. It's a matter of time before someone has a dented wheel, damaged/burst tyre and/or a broken anti-roll bar.

Numerous dangerous potholes, 25th January
Numerous dangerous potholes on this section of the road especially in the left hand lane before turning into Radcliffe. This is getting worse & desperately needs sorting out now before an accident happens. Would hate to hit this in the dark. When is this going to be sorted out. Making it a 40 speed limit isn't the answer. Please do a temporary repair immediately
