Overgrown hedges damaging cars and blocking junction, 7th September
This is the 3rd time I have had to report Ketts Lane both via this site and directly with the council. The hedges and verge have grown into the highway and is damaging vehicles with brambles and branches. The verge has now grown up at the junction with Reepham Road and has made visibility poor and dangerous. I will be claiming for damage to my vehicles if this is not sorted out.

Overgrown verges blocking clear road access and sight, 27th July
The verges down Ketts Lane have grown dangerously high and out into the carriage way. Verge scrub is brushing against vehicles whilst driving down the road and has grown so high you can not safely see oncoming traffic on the bends. There are no passing places and the overgrown verges mean it is unsafe to reverse and pass

2 x large potholes about 30/50 mts from the junction on either side of the lane., 13th February
These pot holes have been there for at least 6 months with no attempt at a repair. Yesterday morning they were completely invisible due to the overnight snow and whilst I drove carefully trying to avoid them, I bottomed out on both of them. This has resulted in the sump on my car being damaged and loosing all my engine oil. I'm awaiting a garage report as to the full extent of the damage and cost. If it's the sump needing to be replaced I will be claiming that from the Highways dept responsible, as this is the second time in 6 months that pot holes within 1 miles radius of my home has caused damage to my car.
