White lines, 26th February
Give way lines at end of slip road off a47 onto Wood Lane. Dangerous as the give way lines stop traffic turning left onto slip road driving into people turning right off a47 onto Wood Lane. Local regular drivers behave as though the lines are still there. Dangerous if people have no previous knowledge of them being there. They are almost invisible now. This is an accident hot spot.

Sunken trench across the road, 21st February
Road has been dug up by workers there and partially filled in across A47 in both directions. Trench badly filled in going East bound causing huge thud to car even though doing less than speed limit. Seen reports online of causing damage to cars. No warning in place to alert drivers of this awful trench.

Road dug up., 17th February
We came home yesterday to find our road dug up as photographed and tonnes of earth heaped along the lane.
We have had no notification of any work being carried out. This lane has no street lights and the position of the works makes access to the opposite properties difficult.

Just the side that is going up to the roundabout there’s about 4 or 5 potholes 2 are definitely bad and could cause some damage road is seriously rough and falling to pieces.

Flooding When Medium To Heavy Rainfall, 3rd January
Carriageway floods. Sometimes closing the road otherwise slowing traffic- allowing only one land to move at a time.
Road only flooded approximate twice in previous 10 years. Now flooded 4 times in last 3 months. This seems to have been caused by the food hub being built next to location along with recent highway works to junction.
Despite seeing remedial work clearing ditches that have only been dug in recent years the situation is getting worse.
How can the main route from Norwich to Midlands/North be closed every time we have some rainfall?

National Highways should have known the high probability of a further flooding event on this stretch of carriageway following weather forecast for today, Sat. No Highways Officers in attendance to manage the tailbacks in both directions caused by the flooding or to close carriageway for reasons of safety to the public. No personnel to pump of water away from carriageway. Overall poor management of national road infrastructure..

Road completely flooded, running off the field where the new colmans factory has been built., 24th October
Needs drainage both sides of Road, only meters away from a river. Issue is every time we get a little rain, road junctions have only just been changed, but drainage is a massive problem, as it’s a main road and not any suitable diversions.
