This has been here for a long while and has been reported before but repair didn't happen when nearby potholes were filled in a week or so ago. It is on the right side of Mill Road going north, just after the railway bridge, between the access to the houses on the right and the driveway of Summer Barn, There is also a smaller hole a few yards north of the large one. A row of around 6 deep potholes on Dereham road B1135, south east of station lane, 19th March
A row of deep (100-200mm) potholes approx 20m apart along the b1135, they are where the kerbside wheels run and cannot be avoided due to the width of the road and being a busy road there is usually oncoming traffic. Could easily damage a car tyre and wheel and are very dangerous for cyclists and motorcyclists

Collection of potholes, 4th January
1. Head north down Mill Road from the B1135, and past the collection of houses beyond the railway bridge. On the first bend there are 6 potholes, each at least 1" deep, varying in size (side plate to dinner plate) and in shape (round, square, oblong). And, a few yards further along there's a nasty gash/hole in the road (on the right) which is a danger particularly to cyclists. Each has become more pronounced during/after the freeze in December.
2. Another 20 yards on the right, abutting the railings over a culvert, there are 3 damaged, therefore ineffectual, reflector posts. Thank you.

Subsidence of edge of road, 20th December
Repeated potholes forcing traffic heading up the hill into otherside of road and oncoming traffic on blind corner. This section of road is in need of being completely ripped up and relaid with consideration of cutback of verge/bank to widen highway. It was originally a 3m single width track that has been widend over the decades. It has been repeatedly relaid with overlap into the bank/verge with no laying of correct road foundations and constant haphazard pot hole repairs. The road edge is contantly crumbling as its laid over mud with no deep foundation. The size and weight of traffic on this road is too much for these sections of roadway. Agricultural and abnormal wide loads are constantly using this route leading to near misses during various times of year.

Vehicles being damaged by branches, 20th December
Vehicles mirrors/windscreens/bodywork are being impacted/damaged by foliage (trees/bushes) along this section of highway. branches (upto 2" dia) within 0.5m of highway tarmac. clear width of the roadway is restricted by poor placement of foliage (no grass verges) and 50mph rated roadway that is less than 5m width. speed of highway is too fast and large trimmed back foliage (by tractor mounted hedge/grass trimmer) has left thick branches not correctly cut back at .5m to 3m height on Dereham bound traffic direction.
A Mobile works crew is required to attend to cut the worst of it back with chainsaws.
This section of road needs review of speed limit to be reduced to 40mph.

Overgrown hedging across pavement., 14th August
WYVERN HOUSE. At least 15" of the pavement width has been lost, after many years of allowing the hedges to grow out without being 'checked'. This matter was taken up by the village council but apparently only No. 3 Low St has complied with the request to cut back the hedging to the property border. Wyvern House has just made a light trimming of the hedge. It needs to be remembered that this road is a 40mph limit (too fast) despite it being narrow and unlit! It is not funny being pushed out towards the pavement edge.
