FIXMYSTREET IN NR32 4NB
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of NR32 4NB:
Uneven surface, 26th April
The road surface is subsiding and breaking up. Not significant to look at, but HGVs carrying offshore shipping containers rattle and bang over this area including a couple of manhole covers at the Gunton Church Lane junction. The containers sound like a bomb going off! Which may sound an exaggeration, but when you live alongside the A47 is extremely upsetting. At night it can be a real headache. PLEASE PLEASE do something about it on a permanent basis. It has been patched several times but only lasts a few days. Do it properly and save money

At the top of the Ravine for traffic coming from North parade there is a luminated sign post containing a 606 Arrow sign and 'one way' sup plate that has been hit and is now leaning across the footway. The post now moves quiet easily in its concrete foundation and the lamp itself also looks to be damaged. Suffolk highways sign post reference number is A124.

Multiple lights not working, 15th March
Despite 2 previous attempts over the past year to get all these defective street lights working from the roundabout all the way to the petrol station, STILL no action from National Highways. So this is my third and final attempt before escalating this to the Ombudsman. What's the excuse now: Covid? Russia?
