Spilt Diesel at Roundabout, 13th September
Considerable sheen of oil/diesel around the roundabout, from Bradwell, then across roundabout leaving at the exit to St Olaves . Been like for it three weeks now. Very slippery especially due to the increased vulnerability of being on my motorcycle. I suspect its the busses coming up from Burgh Castle that are spilling it.

Large sinkhole at junction of Amhurst Gardens cul-de-sac, 30th May
Previously the road had a pothole which was reported & covered in a large slab of tarmac which fixed it for a couple of months, but now it has collapsed into a large hole in the road which is very dangerous & car wheels could get stuck down the hole & would definitely get damaged if driven into. Someone has put a traffic cone over part of the hole, but the hole is even bigger than the base of the traffic cone. This new sinkhole has appeared in the last day or so.

The Pavements and Road Surface, 2nd December
The Pavements and Road Surface in Selwyn Drive are completely below the standard that anyone should expect in that the Tarmac Surface is breaking up and dangerous... I am 77 Years of age and can see that should anyone young or old fall onto the Pavement or road surface they will be badly injured as the top covering particularly on the Pavements which are covered in broken stones coming from the pavement surface which is a health and safety hazard... The road surface is in a similar condition, People walking in this area on returning home find broken stones in the soles of their shoes which causes damage to floors inside their dwellings.. However the main concern is the injuries that will be caused by anyone particularly the very young or elderly persons should they have the mis fortune to fall in this area...
As pointed out earlier the local council must look at their Duty of Care when it comes to the standards of road and pavements which can also cause accidents and injury when trying to stop a vehicle when the road surface is not unto the standard that should be in situ...
