At the end of the junction on New Road there is a massive pothole or where the tarmac has completely erroded away this needs urgent attention you can not avoid as you have to turn on to New Road on that side of that road

4-6 inch pothole, 1st January
I have reported this before in August,but it has now deteriorated considerably. When full of water it cannot be seen. It scraped the bottom of my car the first time I had to use it to avoid an oncoming car on this narrow road. From traffic has now eaten away at the bank .I have further photos but would only upload one.the whole section of this road is in a an awfully state,including overgrown willows blocking the view round a corner,which causes large vehicles th use the bank. As a result water doesn't drain from the road. The situation is now dire. Please reconsider action.

Willows growing ditchnot cleated for yeats blocks drivers view and they cant see oncoming traffic till too late.sunsequently they drive on the banks and into our gateway. Often still not enough for very very larhe vehicles.cracking is apoearing in our roadsidebarn wall and brick gate posts.the ditch is full up,so water cannot drain from the roaf, 22nd June

Very noisy man hole covers, 30th March
3 loose manhole covers that clonk every time something drives over them. Was reported to Highways back in February but so far nothings been done. 1 at Junction of New Road/The Street and 2 more outside Penharbour/Acacia

Abandoned. Untaxed. Wrong registration, 31st January
Has been half parked in a layby outside my house since May 2020, to which I consider it to be abandoned. I reg checked the car and it is registered to a Jaguar, this car is a silver Renault. It causes an obstruction to the road. Considering it has the wrong number plate on I assume it is untaxed which situated on road.

Sewer/other covering in carriageway - needs attention, 5th December
Cast iron services covering in The Street /close to junction with New Road may require attention as in the last two weeks become noisy (loose?) when vehicles drive over it, Could you please check for safety

Illuminated Xmas Tree 60ft in the air, 11th November
The Scaffolding company M R Scaffolding / M R Safe Deck based in Catfield have erected a 60ft scaffolding tower and intend to hang a 30ft illuminated wire xmas tree from it. 60ft if it were to topple over would cross the A149 (prevailing winds from the SW). Also this will be a massive distraction to traffic and drivers on what is a pretty hazardous junction at the best of times. Is this erection legal?

Nobody has cut the grass., 10th September
This piece of grass has not been cut at all since last year. We have tried the highways department and the village parish but nobody seems to be bothered about it but I think you will agree from the photo it looks a mess right outside my house.

Gully on the corner, 1st March
Every time it rains hard the gully floods it needs a gully sucker to clean it out and flush the line out it is full of silta and also at elderbush cottage the owner will kept parking on the lane a is very hard to get buy you have to go on the grass which now is full of pot holes.

Highway degrading opposite Elderbush Cottage, 31st December
Due to the consistant on road parking of resident at Elderbush cottage, vehicles are forced to drive off the highway causing baking to collapse and the highway itself to become potholes and broken. This was repaired a short while ago but has again degraded.
