Large rocks on roadside, 6th April
Hello It looks as though the resident of the property has placed large rocks on the roadside, but they are practically on the road itself. I assume they want to avoid cars driving over the grass verge however as there is no footpath, if there are pedestrians walking it may be necessary to pull over slightly and these rocks present a huge potential problem to road-users and the safety/ condition of their tyres. I thought that posts/ stones etc. had to be a certain distance back from the road?

Potholes along How Hill Road from Sharp Street Catfield all the way through to School Road Ludham., 25th June
The potholes have gradually got bigger and bigger. When it rains they fill with water and, if you don't know the road, you will drive into them and ruin your tyres and, possibly, your car's suspension. Throwing gravel onto the road won't work, they need to be properly filled in with tarmac.

Public path STILL blocked! (Ludham FP 3), 7th February
Reporting further to https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/1092646. Path STILL blocked, unusable. The Norfolk County Council has known about this situation since at least 2003 (letter from Countryside Access Officer dated 1st May 2003 (NCC ref: E.10/L12/SJP)). That's over SEVENTEEN years ago! NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL, the deadline that you gave to the relevant landowners to apply for a diversion expired nearly two years ago (end of March 2019) and so we can only assume that it is no longer your intention to exercise discretionary powers to divert the path. You are the highway authority, and the only alternative available to you in law is to enforce the legal route, so that people can use and enjoy it. Continuing to do neither, is not an option that is legally open to you.

Path exit onto busy A class road concealed., 27th August
Ludham FP 1, south-east end, at the exit onto the busy A 1062 road. The gap and signpost are hardly visible from the road, on account of overgrown hedge. The signpost is poorly placed. Signage for a public path, where that path leaves a metalled road, needs to be readily visible to all highway users, especially in the case of a busy "A" class road.
