Unnecessary stile (Knapton FP 6), 5th April
See photos! Stile on the path. The land is not being grazed, and there is a gap in the adjacent makeshift fence made out of sheep hurdles. The stile is performing no legitimate function, but is impeding the public's passage. Norfolk County Council, you should rescind any authorisation for a stile here, and only be prepared to authorise a less restrictive option instead, in line with your published policies.

Norfolk County Council need to enforce against this notice, and advise the landholder as to more appropriate wording for any notice on display on a public path.

Fallen branches and encroaching hedging., 24th January
Traveling west along Mill Road a short distance past the sawmill there is branch of a tree that has been lying over the carriageway on the sawmill side for some time and has resulted in vehicles having to avoid the obstacle to pass, this has led to larger vehicles running off the tarmac surface on to the verge risking losing traction on sinkage. Also, further along on the same side again going West, the hedging is encroaching very close to the roadway and is having similar impact on the safety of motorists, particularly as it is on a bend, the holly clearly needs attention before an accident occurs.
