Blocked drains, 22nd December
There are several blocked drains along Greens Lane and Top Common. There is a constant river of water running for several hundred yards. When a vehicle drives along the road water splashes onto the property at Manor Farm and is causing damage to the mortar. The wall is constantly wet and never dries out. This has been a problem for at least 3 years. It is now the worst it's ever been.

Pavement all but dissapeared. On a bend. Lady further round uses an electric wheelchair and is forced to use the road., 5th August
This tree is far too large and has engulfed the pavement. Although a cul de sac, there is regular traffic, some quite speedy plus 'every' trade vehicle visiting The Links Hotel seems obliged to turn around right by this tree. A local lady uses an electric wheelchair and has to use it in the road as the pavement is unusable. It is also just about as high as the tallest property and dwarfs the mainly bungalows in the close. Please cut it back to the boundary and reduce the height by at least 50% Thank you.
There is now a second resident with an electric chair. He also uses the road as the pavement is unusable.
Please cut this tree back. It is not fair and I fear someone may get hurt.
Thank you.
Lawrence

Byway unsigned (Beeston Regis RB 6), 10th December
At the junction of Beeston Regis RB 6 and RB 7, there is nothing whatsoever, on the ground, to show any member of the public, approaching from any direction, that the section of RB6 running between here and Britons Lane even exists, let alone where it goes. There is a clear need for signage, at this location, pursuant to the highway authority's duty under s.27(4) of the Countryside Act 1968. In this regard, the county council's attention is to be drawn to the Secretary of State's advice to local authorities contained in DEFRA Rights of Way Circular 01/09, at paragraph 2.11: "Authorities should ensure that members of the public are provided with sufficient information, by means of appropriate signs or notices, particularly at path junctions, to enable them to use the local rights of way network."

Byway STILL obstructed (Beeston Regis RB6), 10th December
Gates are STILL being maintained shut off, across the byway. See photos. Only the smaller of the gates was openable, and even then, it was necessary to move the heavy stone which had clearly been deliberately placed in front of the gate, designed to inhibit the public's ability to open it. Causes riders and drivers to need to dismount. There is no recorded limitation. Norfolk County Council, you need to ensure that the entire legal extent of the path has been made free of any gates and gate posts.

Inadequate signage (Beeston Regis RB 6), 10th December
Signage of the byway, from Briton's Lane, is hardly visible (see photo). The signpost is concealed within the side of the road, is wooden, and the writing on it difficult to read. The signpost is hardly noticeable, if at all, to the fast-moving traffic driving along Briton's Lane, and consequently, most motorists will remain unaware about the very existence of this carriageway junction. In addition, the signpost does not include any information as to where the byway leads (it leads to West Runton). Norfolk County Council, it is highly irresponsible of you to employ such signage, in such a situation as this.
