Stile on the path - lawful? (Binham FP 6), 2nd February
Binham FP 6: A rather poorly designed stile on the path - see photos. No limitation is recorded on the definitive map and statement. Message to Norfolk County Council: Has this stile ever been properly authorised under Section 147 of the Highways Act 1980 (an authorisation that fully complies with Section 320)? If so, when? Unless the stile enjoys lawful authority, then it will be an illegal obstruction, and its removal must be secured. It is not Norfolk County Council policy to authorise new stiles ( https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/out-and-about-in-norfolk/public-rights-of-way/about-public-rights-of-way ).
