Dangerous road conditions with massive pothole., 16th January

Tue, 16 Jan 2024 10:17:01 +0000
52.459894 1.029705

This junction going across from The Moor to Blackslough Lane has over the years deteriorated and has become as so uneven and also has large rocks and stones. This has caused some cars to struggle getting over the bump and will probably cause damage to someone’s vehicle. About 200-300 yards further down Blackslough Lane, there is a very deep pothole along the side of the road. This is very dangerous and will cause damage to someone’s car. Please can you attend and survey the road for works. Pothole needs fixing and the junction coming into the road needs resurfacing and levelling. Thank you.

Multiple vehicles parked on pavement on Scrumpy Way, 2nd January

Tue, 02 Jan 2024 17:02:52 +0000
52.451489 1.038347

Vehicles parked on Scrumpy Way pavement near to the pedestrian cut through to Orchard Way. Cannot get past them as not enough room between vehicle and the fences. Parked like this everyday in the afternoon after 4:30pm and through till morning. No need to park on pavement as it’s a quiet cul de sac and plenty of room to park on the road and this would not block access to any property in doing so

Blue Fiesta has been parked for 5 days on junction of Scrumpy Way., 5th September

Sat, 05 Sep 2020 14:58:27 +0100
52.452406 1.038176

Blue 2 door Ford Fiesta YF62AYY has been parked for five days on the junction of ScrumpyWay and Crown Street. The position of the car at the junction means that traffic leaving Scrumpy Way (to proceed in either direction) is forced onto the RHS of the road, facing any traffic turning into Scrumpy Way. As Scrumpy Way is on a bend, traffic turning left into Scrumpy Way cannot see cars exiting on their side of the road, until they actually turn into Scrumpy Way.

Missing Right of Way Sign, 1st December

Sat, 01 Dec 2012 17:36:08 +0000
52.451019552486 1.0167112386945

There is no finger-post or way-mark where Banham RB18 leaves the road here. From the road it looks as if the route is a private driveway, so some indication that it's a right of way is needed to give users the confidence to continue. The council has a legal obligation to sign any rights of way where they leave a metalled road.
