Flooded road. Saxlingham Nethergate, 23rd December

Mon, 23 Dec 2019 11:42:21 +0000
52.525492 1.289201

Ref: NCC ENQ-383632-C4X8HO I would refer to previous reported flooded road problem. Just had 'no reply' email from NCC that they cannot find the problem! It is outside Saxlingham Nethergate Primary School. The problem seems to be where the open ditch coming down Church Hill goes underground past the school and re-emerges into another open ditch going towards the village centre. The culvert is probably blocked and the ditch just overflows right across the road. The culvert just needs rodding out.

Flooded road, 18th December

Wed, 18 Dec 2019 20:01:05 +0000
52.525682 1.288987

There is a seriously large flood on the road outside Saxlingham Nethergate Primary School, Pitts Hill on the C201. This is caused by blocked drains underneath the footway. This drain connects two sections of open ditch which drains down the hill towards the village centre. The area of flooding is so large that pupils, parents and visitors cannot cross the road and also risk getting soaked by passing vehicles.

Temporary 10mph Skid Risk warning sign, 18th April

Wed, 18 Apr 2018 16:02:17 +0100
52.551146 1.269653

A temporary 10mph Skid Risk warning sign has been placed alongside the A140. The area that the sign applies to is so small that I missed while driving by. Does anyone really expect the traffic to slow to such a slow speed on a major road when the hazards are negligible? I suggest that the sign is removed and the policy of placing signs is subject to a safety review on a case-by-case basis

Many holes in Bungay Road, 19th January

Fri, 19 Jan 2018 13:21:15 +0000
52.541145 1.312526

The road from Norwich to Poringland (Bungay Road) is a disgrace. There are numerous potholes, some substancial in size. This is a busy single carriagway road, and at somepoint in the future a driver, swerving to avoid the danger, will cause an accidnt. This is within sight from the top of County Hall, and really should be repaired immediately. The County Council ought to hang their head in shame.
