Large area of pothole / dirt, 24th February
The road was dug up last year and never put back properly. It's gradually getting worse and worse. Outside properties at NR11 8NT - numbers 26 and 28 Beechlands Park.

Warnign signage needed (C289 and Southrepps RB 20), 10th June
A newly recorded (albeit historic) restricted byway joins the busy C289 road, here. The C289 carries fast moving traffic, adjacent to a bend associated with the near-by railway bridge. Clearly, as a matter of safety, signage is needed, to warn users of the C289, be they approaching from either direction, that the junction exists, and of the potential presence of restricted byway users, on the road here.

No signpost for the byway (Southrepps RB 20), 10th June
No signpost, where teh byway leaves the busy C289 road. NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL, the junction is along a stretch of the C289 which carries fast moving traffic. right near to a bend associated with the near-by railway bridge. It is ESSENTIAL that the signpost is of a design as to be READILY VISIBLE to all highway users, here, as they approach the junction. Please also bear in mind your specific duty under s.27(2)(b) of the Countryside Act 1968.

Headland path too narrow! (Gimingham FP 15), 10th June
This public path was specially created by a NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL public path order, and their definitive statement declares it has a "width not less than 3 metres". However, the only physically available, undisturbed headland is CONSIDERABLY less than this, as illustrated in the labelled photographs. NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL, this issue has been reported to you numerous times before (eg https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/1447490 https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/1609451 https://www.fixmystreet.com/report/3132719 ). You really do need to get to grips with this situation. This report applies along the length of the path, notwithstanding the location of the pin on the map.

Please look at the first two photos, and then the alignment of the path, circled red, as shown on the Norfolk County Council map published at http://maps.norfolk.gov.uk/highways/ On the ground, the only physically available, headland path has got a distinct bend in it, whereas there is no bend in the path, as mapped. Public path badly cropped (Antingham FP 2), 27th May
The cross-field path has been planted up with a potato crop, but not reinstated. See photos. There is merely an extremely narrow (one-third of a metre, in width), foot-worn track, but the ridges are still present. The path surface needs to be made good, ie levelled out, and this needs to be achieved over not less than the legal minimum width. The path also needs to be made apparent on the ground, to not less than the minimum width.
