Very overgrown roundabout, 22nd August
Roundabout at Saxthorpe is hugely overgrown with trees shrubs and weeds and you cannot see the road opposite at all now which makes it dangerous.

Public footpath impassable, 29th June
Rest of the area has had the footpaths maintained recently but this one has been left. It was provided for the public when the bypass was built as the road is treacherous for pedestrians. Currently towering brambles one side and stinging nettles taller than me (5"8) from the other. Please maintain ASAP to avoid people and traffic using the same dangerous route. This IS DEFINITELY highways land. It was gifted as part of the bypass link road over a decade ago and highways have recently done a good job of maintaining the steps leading up to this footpath, either side of the roundabout. Need cutting right back. The bramblrs have become an increasing problem for years and now the stingers are being allowed to run riot. Need to be tackled along whole section of footpath highlighted in supporting screenshots. Please also add to your regular maintenance programme so that it is done at the same time as other neighbouring footpaths within the village.

This problem has recently been reported and some repairs made . THankyou. BUT there are 3 drains at the junction and whilst mud was removed from the tops of 2 of the drains the 3rd remaons under water and does not clear. THere is a 25m. pipe running from the drain in to a nearby stream and this needs clearing else the problem will persist. The road is badly potholed as it is constantly under water ., 7th January
Every time there is rain the junction is under water and impassable on foot.
