Dangerous raised footpath, 17th April

Wed, 17 Apr 2024 10:08:44 +0100
52.338521 -0.598604

There is an area in front of my driveway (32 Welford Avenue) where it seems the roots of a nearby tree have lifted the tarmac. This has been there for over a year now. The raised surface is a trip hazard. When work is done to remedy this, would there be any possibility you could add another drop kerb as most of my existing one is obstructed by said tree? I am happy to pay for this additional kerb / work, as it makes sense to be done at the same time as the path is fixed.

I have reported this area several times. The road from the cross roundabout heading towards A6 station Road. There are several large pot holes at least 10cm deep and 80cm wide. I’ve hit them a few times and luckily not damaged my car yet. If they are not repaired before end of May I will be taking this matter further, as I have reported before. Both sides of the road need a full survey urgently

On the footpath UE9 which runs from Station Road Irthlingborough to Lime Street Irthlingborough there is a stile roughly halfway along this footpath. This is now in very poor condition as the bottom step is rotten and the pillars holding it there are also very worn and is a Health and Safety risk.

Fixed pothole, 11th April

Thu, 11 Apr 2024 12:03:47 +0100
52.336038 -0.602046

So the pothole that apparently couldn't be found was fixed a day ago BUT not all of the pothole was filled leaving a visible hole . This is very bad workman ship in which we have paid for and will very quickly lift the tarmac in the hole . However the pothole on the opposite side of the road that I reported at the same time as this one was not fixed , however the red lines are still visible . Surely this is not cost effective to do one pothole and leave the other approx 2 minutes walk from the first hole .

There is a very large hole in the road here, it is too large to be classed as a pot hole in my opinion as it is around 1M long and 40cm wide approx. Almost an inverted hump, the road appears to be collapsing.
