Previous road repair breaking down, 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 16:04:34 +0100
52.303237 -1.082611

Whilst the pot holes is probably not causing damage to cars, it is causing damage to my house. Everytime a bus/lorry/large vehicle hits this pot hole l we are experiencing worsening vibrations in the house. This is now causing cracks in our plaster. As this is a bus route and major route in and out of the village I am seeing no fewer than 40 large vehicles hitting the pothole every day. This has. Been an issue for 3 months and is worsening weekly.

Double yellow lines obliterated after 14 months, 18th April

Thu, 18 Apr 2024 15:38:24 +0100
52.30274 -1.078814

February 2023 at the formal request of Long Buckby Parish Council, (report ref 4205130), you renewed the double yellow lines on LB High Street between the junction with Brington Road & the 'Pinstripes' shop front. As you will see from the photos these line have already been largely obliterated. Cars parked in this location cause a serious accident hazard (just as they did when you painted the lines before). Accordingly the Parish Council once again formally requests that you renew the lines as soon as possible. I doing so we point out that the risk is at its highest at rush hour times and when the adjacent school 'turns out'.
