Future parking problems, 24th April
New houses are being built the length of Cranford Road between Thornton Avenue down to Hanwood Park Avenue by Taylor Wimpey. Dropped kerbs have now been installed all the way which indicates that each house will have driveway access. Cranford Road is a busy single carriageway road and has not been widened and there is going to be an obvious parking problem, once the houses are inhabited with parking on the main road, parking on the pavement etc. I don't think the Council have considered the potential problem. One way to obviate the problem would be to have double yellow lines on that side of the road.

Double yellow near school, 19th April
This road was marked with double yellows last year, due to the risk of the children near the school and traffic buildup. Cars continue to park in the double yellow at drop off and pick up, blocking up our drive way and also creating blind spots on the roads. Cars park here for up to an hour at a time, can this be manned with traffic enforcement officers? It’s carniage

Vans and cars parking on a very busy exit road, 18th April
There are a number of vans and cars which keep parking on Hilltop avenue. This is the only exit out of this end of the estate and gets very busy. At times there are six vehicles or more which is the whole of the road being taken up by parked cars. If you are coming from the A14 side you end up waiting on polwel lane and holding traffic up on that busy road too.
