Loose ironworks and crumbling tarmac, 25th April
On Wellingborough Road, Rushden at top of Fitzwilliam Street. The tarmac around this drain cover (ironworks) has been eroding over recent weeks. You can now see the cover lift when the car goes over the top which may cause damage. Also the noise when traffic goes over the drain is increasing. The tarmac is deteriorating and someone has tried to plug the hole with cardboard. Due to the loosening of the tarmac, it appears that the drain is sinking into the road.

For some reason you don't have my street on your site. We live on a road with street lighting, drains and a major sewar running underneath the road. We have 2 fully blocked drains down our road which is not good.

Large tree on grass area next to road, 24th April
A large tree trunk and branches on grass area on Windsor Road just up from John Clark Way Rushden, appeared today but was hanging over road so was moved onto grass area, very worried if put in road again cause cars speed up and down this road constantly it could cause a very nasty crash.

Pedestrian safety barriers are crumbling, 23rd April
The pedestrian safety barriers on North End are crumbling and unsafe. Many concrete posts have their metal reinforcements exposed and some reinforcements are broken too. The railing needs repair and repainting.
This problem has been getting worse for years.

Blocking the road, 22nd April
The owners of 36 Westfields Terrace have put cones onto their white line to stop any vehicles from pulling in to give way. This is a narrow road and pulling in to let others pass is essential. It is causing issues in the street. They stand in the parking space at school dropping off time when it is especially busy and cars cannot pull in to give way to oncoming vehicles
