I drove down Wood Lane on my way back from work and had to give way to on going traffic. As I pulled in, I hit an unfinished curb from the farm house drive way. It has slashed my back left tyre and punctured my front tyre. I have been going this way for a few weeks now due to a diversion. Cars go way too fast down this narrow road and it’s muddy and slippery however, tonight, the problem was this curb. The curb is quite hidden and has a sharp edge. I am not having to pay over £200 to get my tyres and alloys fixed! I was not going fast and was going even slower than usual due to having to pull in to let a car go past.

Just before you come out of the trees before the nice stretch of road. Also at junction towards within st Hughs, 1st April
The road is being used as an unofficial diversion route whilst camp road at Witham St Hughs is closed. This is only going to get worse with the continued works. Potholes in excess of 40mm along the whole stretch before resurfaced part towards A46. The trees often put them in shadow and they are therefore hard to avoid.

Heading towards Norton Disney after Scotwater Bridge, 24th March
After heavy and persistent rain such as we have experienced on several occasions this winter, the ditch floods badly onto the road and motorists do not know where the road is, such that some have come off the road into the ditch. It is hazardous and needs attention as soon as possible please.

Streetlight out, not working. There is only one light on that side of the road near the pub. On the boundary between Bryn House and Field House.

Between the houses and the right-angled bend, on the left of the road, 17th March
Lagre pothole at the edge of he road, now protrudes significantly into the road, It is dangerous as it's on the approach to the bend but is diffult to avoid without stopping if there is on-coming traffic. Also, its dangerous for cyclists, especially as after heavy rain it can't be seen as its fills with water

Whole of wood lane, 15th March
There is a new roundabout being constructed in Witham St Hughs. Traffic is being diverted and most of the traffic is using Wood Lane as diversion route including HGV and buses. The verges as well as the road surface is already in a bad state of repair. The diversion is currently one way only however will become both ways when the road is closed for I assume is final completion and connection of roundabout. The road is basically a single track . There is a real danger of a collision .
