Hoplands Road, hundreds of Potholes from number 8 to number 16, 12th May
Imagine my excitement seeing a road repair crew arrive at Hoplands Road on Friday 10th May.
I was expecting all of the potholes to be filled and repaired, but how wrong was I?
Two repairs were carried out, but I am absolutely amazed that the worst of the potholes were totally ignored. I cannot see the logic of a repair crew visiting the area with all the tooling and equipment to carry out repairs and then totally ignore the hundreds of potholes that require repair.
This is surely not cost effective and is not a good use of tax payers money. These potholes have been repeatedly reported by numerous members of the public for over 5 years to my knowledge. It’s about time a full resurfacing of this road is carried out.
Please visit this road and see the appalling state of the road which I would liken to a farm track. I have to use this road everyday and I am sick and tired of having to dodge the potholes.
The road is a serious hazard to all road users but particularly cyclists, please revisit this road and carry out a full assessment of the potholes and carry out the required repairs

I don't like complaining all the time but a couple of patch repairs are not good enough, there are numerous potholes still, cyclists still have to ride around them which is dangerous.

Outside the car park entrance to Tattershall Castle and Church, 7th May
Pot hole over 60mm deep in entry to car park, bede houses and church. This is heavily used by visitors and elderly residents to the three sites. This has been reported before but not fixed it is outside the boundary of the property and within the highway boundary.

Long pothole is developing in the middle of the carriageway at the junction of the A153 and Wharf Lane. It is in excess of 1.5 metres in length and is dangerous for cyclists and motorcyclists

Outside Cooley's garage, 12th April
The path as pictured is breaking up and to add to that, the business owner frequently blocks the path with vehicles as you can see in the picture. You can also see that they have resurfaced part of the path to give it the appearance that it is their land giving them an excuse to consistently block the path. This is dangerous as it is the path towards a school.

Hunters Lane from Grange Drive to Wharf Lane, 11th April
Today 11 Apr 2024 a team form Highways have been along and filled in the potholes Reference 4190848 as hopefully can be seen in the photographs I and many other residents are left bewildered by the standard of repair. The photograph hopefully shows where a previous repair was cut out, filled and then sealed around the edges, today they have just dropped some tar in and ran a whacker plate over it . My question is is there two standards of repair that are carried out by different teams?

O/S 12 and 13 Fairfield, Coningsby, LN4 4SP. Customer states that there is a large blossom tree on the grass verge. Customer states that two large branches have broken off the tree, one is garden of 13 and the other is currently being cradled by the other branches of the tree and will eventually fall into the cw.

Pot holes in road, 8th April
Assorted pot holes in the road. Which are unavoidable. With the car parking situation. You have to go in them .. filled them up with gravel but one in the centre of the road was 75mm deep other near the drive were 50mm deep 2 foot long 1 foot wide . Have been filled before but failed.
