All the brambles and shrubs are over grown and are scratching vehicles also there are issues with people walking down from the top road to school if some of the tree saplings and shrubs were removed visibility would be better and people could step out of the way, this has been an issue for years a section has been done already near the train track but the work hasn't been done to a good standard

"Explain what is wrong"? Virtually the whole length of road in Saxon Close is "wrong". Repairs continue to be dealt with in a piecemeal manner, meaning that some potholes are earmarked for treatment, whilst other potholes are left untreated without obvious justification. As a result this is one of the shabbiest road/footways in the whole village. By comparison with the relatively fine condition of neighbouring streets (Roman Close, Manor Close, Alexander Close, Pullman Close and 90% of Caroline Road), there is no doubt that Saxon Close is not entirely fit for purpose, despite money being spent over recent years on "repairs". All I ask is that Saxon Close can be seen to be treated as equal amongst its neighbours. If not, then why not? Thank you for the opportunity to have my say. Geoff Brown

This is as a result of Quickline contractors laying cable and then doing a very poor job of reinstating the surface and finish. This is legalised vandalism that we ad the tax payer should not be liable for. Get the contractors back to do the job properly

Numerous potholes with different depths and widths. New ones created when road sweeper came down road. Again why send the road sweeper when you know it causes issues with the road? The highways officer I spoke to in the car said they would not send a road sweeper in the future due to this issue. This is the 3rd time this has happened.

Father is blind and needs to use a walking frame, he crosses this road to access all other areas of the village, including the GP surgery, the Over 60s club meetings, the pharmacy and other amenities. If you could arrange for the road to be made smooth for a sight impaired person to cross safely it would be much appreciated.
