Outside 17 and 17a Church Road, Branston, LN4 1LZ, 23rd April
LCC came to re tarmac the paths today and have left the section outside these properties without new tarmac. Unfortunately, they prepped the area in front of these two properties for tarmac to be laid and have blasted the existing stones from the path. I have spoken to a man on site who I was told was in charge, he said the road is not being done as it needs to be restated. As the stones have been blasted out it has left holes on a footpath of more than 25mm causing a hazard.

Silver St/Station Road/Lincoln Rd/Sleaford Rd crossroads., 2nd April
Please would you take a look at the timings of the traffic lights at Branston crossroads. Because of the lack of a filter light for traffic moving into Silver Street (from the Lincoln direction), often there is no time to move into Silver Street before traffic heading into Station Road is bearing down! Clearly, drivers who 'cut it fine' at the lights also create a knock-on effect on the opportunity to make the turn in time. I have seen drivers stranded and have been pipped at as no right turn has been possible at all. More often, still only one vehicle is able to 'make it' into Silver Street, whereas traffic from the Metheringham direction moving into Station Road has a much easier (and safer passage). This has probably been the case since the lights were first introduced, but I think drivers are ‘challenging’ the lights, so the problem is much more evident now. A filter light would be a preferred option or installing cameras, but changing the timings to allow a longer time for the traffic to turn into Silver Street from the Lincoln direction would also be welcome.
