100 metres west from (aka Little Cherry) on footpath/ cycle path., 3rd May
2(?) weeks ago 2 channels were cut across the path and filled on a one-day activity.
The cut has been losoe filled with tarmac. The infill has Immediately compacted and causes a depression.
This is deep enough to throw an unsuspecting cyclist onto the road.
This pathway is used by many cyclists and scooters riders, the majority children going to and from school.
As a cyclist I consider this depression dangerous especially as the tarmac is black it is not easily visible.
Please, URGENTLY, top it up and firm it down, before something happens.

Pointless traffic lights, 2nd May
Yesterday (1 may) someone traffic management type had put up "Road closed" signs completely blocking the lane heading onto Croft lane causing chaos especially at school pick up time (the only thing happening was the signs, there was nothing else. Thankfully they have gone today but now we have another obstruction on Hawthorn road. Lights and cones on an otherwise empty piece of road with nothing happening whatsoever ? Are these things put there just to annoy us? Why not put them up when something is happening instead?

Chapel Road Fiskerton, 1st May
Development of the old farm buildings on Chapel Road. I think it’s time someone from the council visited this site. The developer is working on the public highway and not taking any action to safeguard the public. A minute before the images were taken the excavator did a 360 degree turn over a live carriageway. Moments later a double deck bus came from the Reepham direction and had to slow down because one of the developers employees decided to saunter across the road. The was no attempt to warn traffic, no advance signs and no traffic control. There is certainly something going on that the developers are hiding because they stopped work while I was filming. The excavator was filling the tractors trailer with rubble from the site. The excavator has metal caterpillar tracks which has created additional damage to Highway assets. The council need to ensure: 1) Work on the Highway is being carried out safely 2) The developer has a waste transfer licence 3) The developer will repair the damage to highways assets that they have caused. For example, replacement of damaged and displaced kerbs. Reinstatement of verges. Carriageway surfacing. Jetting of gullies and drains. 4) The developer to provide adequate traffic management to protect the public and their own site staff.

The corner of the pavement with the yellow accessible paving, 1st May
Probably due to the nearly weekly flooding of the road here this year, the pavement at the corner is extremely sunken and uneven. This is especially bad at the yellow accessible paving stones. I ride my bike along this corner often and do not feel safe going over it. School children walk or ride past it daily. I can't see it being safe for someone who is blind and relying on the markings. This has become a worse and worse issue since winter 2023/2024. It was not this bad last summer, but wasn't great then.

Illegal parking across the road from the school, 1st May
Yet again drivers are ignoring the NO Parking time restriction opposite the school. I would like to ask if the yellow plate that states the times can be lowered approximately 1 metre from the top of the post so that it is more visible or a larger one be fitted to make it more obvious. Thank you. A.Brammer
