Most of Pinfold Lane, Beesby, 18th March
The volume of large vehicles, and massive agricultural traffic seems to be increasing every year. Pinfold Lane is generally not wide enough for 2 way traffic, resulting in overrunning the verge and leaving water filled depressions up to 150mm deep at the edge of the carriageway. The set back gullies are also becoming blocked. At the very least could we receive filling same with planings or similar.

Road to St. Oswalds Church, Church Lane (or Field Lane), 22nd January
This road is constantly flooded because the drainage ditches in both directions are blocked. In addition the road is probably about 100 years old, (excluding patches) and it cannot take the width or weight of the tractors and trailers using it. Also a articulated lorry uses this road as it is not allowed to enter from the other end owing to a weak bridge. At its present rate of decay it will soon be just a cart track.
