Pot holes along whole road, 24th April
10 Potholes of various sizes dotted along the whole road. Located from start of road to Hunter Avenue. Claimed to have all been fixed on 24.04.24 when in fact only 4 at the start of the road had been done; leaving 6 untouched. Issue is getting increasingly worse as they are getting bigger by the week and causing damage to cars.

Junction of vampire road and meteor toad, 2nd April
I write on behalf of the residents of meteor, javelin, vampire and Valiant roads Manby. These roads are unadopted and maintenance is carried out and funded by the residents. We had the road totally re-surfaced a few years ago at considerable cost . A pothole in vampire road at the junction with meteor road is very close to ‘our’ road and will soon spread into Meteor if not fixed properly and edged with bitumin. Can you please arrange for this to done soonest. If the hole does go into Meteor we will have to have it fixed and forward the invoice to yourselves for payment. I hope this will not be necessary and thank you in anticipation. Pam McConnell, 1 Valiant Road, Manby on behalf of the residents.

Report no 479832 Provost Road & no 1 Canberra. Crescent., 28th March
I have had an email saying that all the potholes are sorted. WELL I CAN TELL YOU THEY ARE NOT ALL FIXED. I keep telling you that there are potholes at the entrance to NUMBER 1 CANBERRA CRESCENT NOT NUMBER 11. I think also some of the tarmac that has been put in the holes has started to come out as it did last time. I think that it is time that one of your staff comes out to have a look at them. If someone does come get them to call on me at number 1 Canberra crescent & I will take them through all the problems that we are having. John Worthy

O/S 1 Farm Cottage, 28th March
Caller states they raised issue with blocked drain 2 months ago 484752 this shows and completed but caller states the drains are still completely blocked. If these works were done they were not done on these drains. With the rain coming on the weekend they are very concerned about flooding. People are driving over the grass verge to avoid the standing water in the road which has now turned into a mud bath. There has been water standing on this road since last November it hasn't subsided once.

Chapel Lane O/S Hawks Meadow, 27th March
Water is being backed up from the road. There is a blockage on an area which LCC owns and has cleaned out previously. Water is being backed up to the customer sewage system, to a point where he cant flush the toilet. Customer says this is not an Anglian water issue. Customer was allowed by LCC to have his CLEAN water flow in the drainage system outside his home. Due to the blockage of a nearby drain that collects direct from the fields everything is now flowing backwards into his system.

On verge directly outside 16 Church Lane, Manby, 18th March
Two significant branches have fallen onto the pathway and into the road in the last three months. This follows two similar incidents last year. Highways were informed but nothing came of the issue. If pedestrians had been on the footpath at the time of the falling branches there could have been a significant injury.

Adjacent to Cherry Garth, Church Lane. Access route to Anglian Water sewage works,, 14th March
The road is completely collapsed along significant sections of the carriageway. Although this has been the case for some time, the light use meant this wasn’t a problem. Presently heavy plant and large HGVs are involved with new construction at the Anglian Water site. The damaged carriageway is likely to cause damage to vehicles and is a risk to pedestrians, there being no pavement available.

Woodland in between highgate farm and heatherdene, 22nd February
Woodland over knee deep in water, has been been all winter but now getting considerably worse, grass verge has gone and its flooding the road and both properties either side. We have had to rescue 2 vehicles after getting stuck and nearly ending up in the small pond which is now more like a lake. The water will sit there for months as the drains which run under the road to a ditch opposite are inadequate, no more than 5 inch across and totally blocked...could be solved so easily if somebody could just come have a look. Has been reported numerous times as fa's back as 2017, notice was served to the landowner but nothing has been done.
