FIX MY STREET Outside Mitchells Cottage Main Road Saltfleetby Lincolnshire LN11 7SS B1200
Report Reference Number 454387
Good Afternoon, Reference to the above Fix My Street Report Ref 454387 and my call to Highways LCC this morning at 09:14 hrs 24/01/2024. Photos to help explain my concerns. With the ongoing remedial repair works new pedestrian pathways on the B1200, I need to ensure the correct kerb line will be installed along the length of my home Mitchells Cottage, Main Road Saltfleetby Lincolnshire LN11 7SS, with a kerb line that only lowers at the entrance to the property drive way as indicated on the photos below. Presently because of the inconsistences on the road surface levels, when it rains the water collects and pools at the front of my property, as the present kerb line is non-existent, the water from the road pours down the front of my home, which was built in 1850 and the FFL level, as I asked back in April 2023 please can the kerbs be installed along the full front of the property, with sufficient waters drains to take the surface water to the correct drain system, with only the driveway entrance having a dropped kerb line, at the designated parking area to the property.
Yours Sincerely
Leo Doyle

All of Charlesgate, 6th December
The road has deteriorated over years of neglect, many large potholes that are dangerous for cars, walkers and animals that use the road. The potholes seem shallower than they are due to the entire road surface being worn down making it lower than it should be. Grass and mud have being growing through the center of the road for years which is dangerous when trying to avoid potholes as it causes car tires to slip. The road needs resurfacing not just more tarmac slapped in a couple holes which just creates more potholes down the line.
