FIXMYSTREET IN KT3 9HA
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of KT3 9HA:
Parking nuisance, 4th May
I am resident in a new built and the parking is free in our road. There is a business just next to my building which repair cars and very often parks his cars on the road and leave them stationary for weeks, till they get repaired. Also, residents living around, park their second or third veichle on the same road and leave them also stationary for weeks or months. There is a campervan parked here since August 2023 that does not belong to any residents from my building. I have got a blue badge and, every day, i have to park far away because the whole road is occupied by NON residents. Although cars are allowed to park, i would like the Council to consider to make this road "parking permit" only because, as a matter of fact, there are more people in this road than they used to and the parking has to be regulated properly.

Bushes blocking the footpath, 3rd May
303 West Barnes Lane, the un-cut bushes have grown nearly across the footpath and I cannot safely get by on my mobility scooter without sustaining facial injuries. This property is a disgrace to all disabled people in the area. Please cut the bushes right back to their private property line such that the entire public footpath can be used as it is intended. While you are at it, 313 has a similar problem, although nowhere near as bad as 303. All property owners must keep their bushes ONLY on their own property so disabled people can also enjoy their freedoms without risk of injury. Thank you.

Damaged to post on pavement, 1st May
This post has been damaged on several occasions which is an important safety piece of street furniture. This is required to stop vehicles using the pavement as part of the roadway in this narrow road and was installed as there was a near miss accident involving a child. The post needs to be made more visible in height and colour. I will be willing to talk with you, Christine Matthews - Chair Arthur Road Residents

Untaxed VW Golf, LO58 HNE. Untaxed since April 2023!
Outside house everyday with bins or other items obstructing the number plate to avoid ANPR detection. Vehicle is driven daily, suggest council/authorities look at this in the evening.
Council useless and do nothing no doubt. Why do ordinary people have to pay tax/MOT and some get away with it continuously.
